Spiritual healing in shamanic cultures involves restoring power, wholeness, harmony and balance, whether to an individual, a relationship, a family, a place, or a community.
Restoring wholeness on the spiritual level can deeply support emotional, psychological, physical, and relational healing.Come learn about some classic forms of shamanic healing available, including personal power restoration, soul retrieval healing, healing for the dead, and extraction of negative thought-forms.
The application of shamanism to healing trauma, addictions, relationship difficulties, and social stresses and conflicts will be discussed.

In shamanic cultures, soul loss is considered the most serious diagnosis, and in contemporary society the shamanic remedy of soul retrieval healing increasingly is honored as an adjunct to other healing modalities.
Sometimes we lose part of our soul, or vital self, through trauma; sometimes we give part of it away to someone else. Sometimes the soul is eroded through exploitation, or when we feel we have to give up who we really are. Sometimes part of the soul is stolen.Regardless of how soul loss happens, soul loss can leave us with any of the following symptoms:

This informational session will be an opportunity to learn about general and specific shamanic approaches to healing. Power restoration, soul retrieval healing, psychopomp and extraction of negative thoughtforms will be discussed, and opportunities provided to ask questions about the shamanic healing process.

Join us in celebrating the graduates of the 2008-2009 Shamanic Healing Apprenticeship Program!
Over the course of ten months, these graduates completed ten intensive weekends of training in power restoration, empowerment counseling, death & dying, extraction healing, ritual use and design, peacemaking, Medicine for the Earth, and soul retrieval healing.
The program will begin with an overview by instructor Lenore Norrgard of what the graduates studied, followed by an opportunity to ask questions of her and the graduates.
We then will join in a participatory, ceremonial honoring of the graduates for completing this phase of training, and for their pledge always to use their spiritual knowledge and abilities for the highest good of all.
Bring flowers, balloons, food, libations and your well wishes to bless these courageous and loving souls as they continue their work with the compassionate spirits to bring forth healing for our world!
